Comment on the Residential Agreement to Buy or Sell & Residential Property Disclosure
Louisiana REALTORS® and the Louisiana Real Estate Commission (LREC) will once again convene a joint workgroup to review the Residential Agreement to Buy or Sell and the Residential Property Disclosure documents. Consisting of REALTORS® who are active in the industry, title attorneys, and educators, this group meets every other year to discuss these forms. The comment and feedback period is now open for brokers and agents to submit any revisions and updates they would like to see discussed. The deadline to submit comments is May 1, 2021.

NAR is pleased to share the latest consumer guide focused on state and local tax (SALT) deductions . This guide explains federal tax law changes that temporarily quadruple the amount of state and local taxes (SALT) that taxpayers can deduct and will make homeownership more accessible and affordable, especially for people in higher-tax states. As a reminder, all guides in this series are available for download—in both English and Spanish—on facts.realtor . Please allow a few days for the Spanish version of the latest resource to be translated and uploaded.
