HOW DO I GET MY LICENSE IN LOUISIANA?
The Louisiana Real Estate Commission was originally created as the State Board of Real Estate by Act 236 of the 1920 Louisiana Legislature. The purpose of the Board was defined by law to “regulate the mode and manner of conducting the affairs and business of real estate.”
I AM A LICENSED AGENT. AM I A REALTOR®?
No. The term REALTOR® is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to a strict
Code of Ethics.
