Real Estate Commissions - How They Work, Facts & FAQ
It is important to understand not only how real estate commissions are paid but to also understand the tool used in listing a property, MLS. The National Association of REALTORS® has created a resource for real estate agents and consumers to help answer some of the most common questions and explain the basic information every buyer and seller needs to know.

NAR is pleased to share the latest consumer guide focused on state and local tax (SALT) deductions . This guide explains federal tax law changes that temporarily quadruple the amount of state and local taxes (SALT) that taxpayers can deduct and will make homeownership more accessible and affordable, especially for people in higher-tax states. As a reminder, all guides in this series are available for download—in both English and Spanish—on facts.realtor . Please allow a few days for the Spanish version of the latest resource to be translated and uploaded.
