Week 12 Report

This week’s report is short and sweet as any updates posted will be out of date by Monday, June 3rd at 6:00 p.m., the deadline for the session to end.

We do want to announce a major REALTOR® win, though!

Governor Landry signed Senate Bill No. 506 to reign in the practice of using liens or mortgages to secure rights under real estate service agreements. This bill was filed at the request of Louisiana REALTORS®

Louisiana REALTORS® thanks Senator Rick Edmonds for authoring this important piece of legislation and Representative Troy Hebert for carrying the legislation on the House side.

Watch for a detailed Session Scoop next week!
