Erin Stackley from the National Association of REALTORS®, Mandi Mitchell from Louisiana Economic Development, and Jason DeCuir from Ryan, LLC gave very informative presentations about what the Opportunity Zones Program is, how it works, the requirements, tax benefits, how it can help communities and more! Nominations are open now through April 24, 2026, for the Louisiana REALTORS® 2025 REALTOR® of the Year & the 2025 Lawrence R. DeMarcay, Jr. Distinguished Service Award. Both awards are aimed to showcase an individual who has volunteered their time in service to the real estate industry. 2027 LR Officer Elections, RVPs & NAR Director Applications

The Louisiana REALTORS® Board of Directors will conduct several elections this Spring. Interested candidates that meet the qualification who are looking to serve at either the state association level or the national association level are encouraged to view the criteria and submit an application. An application that is not submitted on the appropriate form or not submitted pursuant to the instructions shall not be considered as submitted timely.
