Date of Class Notice: August 17th

Louisiana REALTORS® • August 26, 2024

Update from Katie Johnson, NAR Chief Legal Officer and Chief Member Experience Officer

As you may recall, in addition to being the practice change deadline, August 17th was also the earliest possible date for Class Notice. As expected, the class notice was published on August 17th on the official settlement website by the plaintiffs' counsel.

We previously sent all members and associations an email about the expected date of class notice, what it is, and how to respond to consumer inquiries. As a reminder, the notice, which will be distributed by mail and electronically, informs class members of their rights, options, and key deadlines under the proposed settlement.

For more information on what the class notice means for REALTORS®, we encourage you to watch and share this informational video featuring NAR General Counsel Lesley Muchow. Consumers with questions about the class notice or eligibility processes should reference the settlement website or call the settlement administrator at 888-995-0207 for additional guidance. As always, facts.realtor remains the most comprehensive resource for information on the settlement for REALTORS® and consumers.
