Lacy Baaheth
Greater Baton Rouge Association of REALTORS®
I am seeking the position of Louisiana REALTORS® Board of Directors – At Large because I believe effective leadership requires more than representing a particular market or perspective—it requires understanding the diverse needs of REALTORS® across Louisiana, across the industry, and across the BOARD. My commitment to the real estate profession has extended well beyond my own brokerage. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to serve our industry in leadership, professional standards, education, advocacy, government affairs, and community and economic development. These experiences have allowed me to work with REALTORS®, brokers, association leaders, elected officials, municipalities, and other stakeholders while gaining a broader understanding of the issues that affect our members and the communities we serve. My previous service on the Louisiana Real Estate Commission, including serving as Chair, provided valuable experience in governance, regulatory matters, consensus building, and making decisions that impact real estate professionals statewide. My continued involvement with REALTOR® organizations has strengthened my belief that good leadership begins with listening, thoughtful deliberation, and a willingness to advocate for the profession even when the issues are complex. I would bring to the Board experience, perspective, collaboration, accountability, and a genuine commitment to service. Most importantly, I understand that an At-Large Director has a responsibility to look beyond individual interests and consider what strengthens Louisiana REALTORS® and our profession as a whole. I am seeking this position because I want to continue serving, listening, and helping move our organization forward—ensuring that REALTORS® throughout Louisiana have a strong voice, strong representation, and an association prepared for the opportunities and challenges ahead.
Kiwi Bautista
REALTOR® Association of Acadiana
I am seeking the opportunity to serve as an At-Large Director because I believe our industry is entering a period of significant change, and Louisiana REALTORS® needs leadership that can respect the foundations of our profession while helping members adapt to what comes next. Over the past decade in real estate, I have worked as an agent, team leader, business owner, and Associate Broker, giving me firsthand experience with the challenges REALTORS® face at multiple levels of the business. My work has included residential and commercial real estate, agent development, marketing, technology, automation, and the practical application of artificial intelligence within the real estate industry. I believe one of my strongest qualifications is the ability to translate complex changes—whether involving technology, consumer behavior, marketing, brokerage operations, or industry policy—into practical strategies that working REALTORS® can actually use. If elected, I would bring an entrepreneurial perspective, a commitment to professionalism and ethical representation, and a strong interest in helping Louisiana REALTORS® remain competitive, informed, and relevant in a rapidly changing marketplace. I would be honored to contribute my experience, perspective, and willingness to serve to the Louisiana REALTORS® Board of Directors.
Bill Boyd
Bayou Board of REALTORS®
After constantly being in the business for 51 years (48 1/2 Years as a Broker/Owner). I am still being approached by agents evenly from both genders asking questions on what is my secret to longevity and then there are the questions from those that are still foggy in their minds concerning many aspects about contracts. Solving problems for them still gives me a big rush. It's called still being needed in our ever changing business battlefront. Once the questions stop coming then they can say to me "Here's your Sign"
Alvin Cain
Greater Baton Rouge Association of REALTORS®
I am seeking an At-Large position on the Louisiana REALTORS Board of Directors because I believe leadership is about showing up, speaking up, and serving others. As a broker, business owner, and active member of my community, I understand the challenges REALTORS face and the importance of having strong voices representing our profession. I bring real-world business experience, leadership, determination, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. I am not afraid to ask questions, bring new ideas to the table, or advocate for what I believe will strengthen our industry. It would be an honor to serve, represent my fellow REALTORS, and help shape an even stronger future for Louisiana real estate.
Shawn Carter
REALTOR® Association of Acadiana
I am honored to submit my candidacy for a position on the Louisiana REALTORS® Board of Directors. Throughout my real estate career, I have been committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, ethical conduct, and service to both clients and fellow REALTORS®. I believe my experience, leadership skills, and dedication to the real estate industry make me a strong candidate to serve on the Board. As a REALTOR®, I have witnessed firsthand the significant impact that strong advocacy, professional development, and industry leadership have on our members and the communities we serve. Jolandra Cole McNeil
New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®
I am applying to serve as an At-Large Director of Louisiana REALTORS® because I believe the association is sharpest when its leadership reflects the varied perspectives and experiences of its membership. Building an independent commercial brokerage has made me especially attentive to how association decisions affect practitioners working across different specialties, markets, and business models. To me, board service means being prepared, listening closely, asking informed questions, and making decisions for the full membership, including members whose work and experiences differ from my own. Service to the profession is critical to the strength and advancement of our industry because it helps sustain the education, leadership, and professional networks that have supported my own growth. I believe benefiting from those resources carries a responsibility to help extend them to others. I currently serve on the NOMAR Commercial Investment Division Board, chair its Scholarship Committee, serve on its Education Committee; and I also contributed to the successful application through which NOMAR earned NAR Diamond-level Commercial Services Accreditation. Additionally, I serve as Vice President of the Tchoupitoulas Art Corridor Board of Directors and previously served on the 2025 Louisiana REALTORS® Commercial Committee. These experiences, coupled with leading my firm, have strengthened my ability to collaborate, evaluate issues beyond my own practice area, and lead with accountability. If elected as a Louisiana REALTORS® At-Large Director, I will bring the perspective of a commercial practitioner and independent brokerage owner to the Board while approaching every decision with the preparation, judgment, and accountability required to serve Louisiana REALTORS® to the best of my abilities. Thank you for your consideration.

Southwest Louisiana Association of REALTORS®
See attached bio. Also concerned with the future course of real estate for agents/brokers in general. Have concerns with the mission/charter of NAR and affiliates. Are existing old paradigms in our local operations that could be modified/deleted to meet the needs of our members as the industry evolves. How do we become the best association in the state by progressive positive actions/answers to these changing trends in the industry. How do we provide optimum benefits/value for membership dollars?
Steven Desormeaux
REALTOR® Association of Acadiana
I’m the broker owner of Dream Home Realty and I’m the Owner of Excel School of Real Estate. I really just want to be of service. I have a different view point from many licensed agents because of the unique roles I have as a NAR instructor and pre-license instructor as well.
Sofia Dheming
New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®
I am seeking this position because I truly love serving our REALTOR® community and being able to make a difference. For me, leadership has never been about having a title. It is about showing up, helping others, bringing people together, and leaving something better than how you found it. Over the years, I have been blessed with many opportunities to serve and grow as a leader. I am a Broker/Owner and have served in different leadership roles within NOMAR, Louisiana REALTORS®, YPN, Women’s Council of REALTORS®, and NAHREP Southeast Louisiana. Each experience has taught me something different and, most importantly, has allowed me to meet, learn from, and serve so many amazing people in our industry. One of the things I am most passionate about is making sure people feel that they have a place at the table. As a bilingual REALTOR®, immigrant, business owner, and military spouse, I understand how important representation, education, and opportunity can be. I want members to feel welcomed, connected, and encouraged to get involved even when they may not see themselves as leaders yet. I am always willing to work, learn, listen, and bring new ideas to the table. I know I still have so much to learn, but I also know that I have a lot to give. I would be honored to serve in this position and continue giving back to an organization and an industry that have given me so many opportunities. Most of all, I want to use this opportunity to help others grow, build stronger connections within our REALTOR® community, and make a positive impact
Tracey Dietz
New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®
I have been a certified residential appraiser since 2003 and have spent my career working closely within the real estate industry. I am interested in becoming more involved with the Louisiana REALTORS® Board to help bring an appraiser’s perspective to the table and contribute to meaningful discussions around market data, valuation, professionalism, and collaboration among real estate professionals. Appraisers and REALTORS® play different but closely connected roles in the transaction process, and I believe stronger communication and mutual understanding between the two professions benefits agents, appraisers, lenders, buyers, sellers, and the public as a whole. I would welcome the opportunity to serve, collaborate, and provide insight from the appraisal profession in support of the Board’s goals and the broader Louisiana real estate community.
Cindy Dyer
Northwest Louisiana Association of REALTORS®
I am seeking the opportunity to continue serving Louisiana REALTORS® as a 2027 At-Large Director because I believe strongly in giving back to an organization and profession that have given so much to me. Throughout my years of service at the local, state, and national levels, including the honor of serving as 2024 President of Louisiana REALTORS®, I have gained a broad perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing our members and our industry. I bring experience, institutional knowledge, a strong commitment to advocacy and professionalism, and, most importantly, a willingness to listen. I value the different perspectives of REALTORS® across our state and believe effective leadership means representing ALL members - not simply one area or point of view. Service has always been at the heart of my involvement in our REALTOR® family. I would be honored to continue using my experience, relationships, and passion to help ensure a strong future for our members and the clients and communities we serve.
Toni Effingger

With over 26 years of dedicated real estate experience in Georgia from 2000 to 2007, Alabama 2007-2009, and Louisiana from 2009 til current, I am seeking your vote for the At-Large Board of Directors. Over the nearly three decades of my career, I have navigated shifting market cycles, technological evolutions, and regulatory changes. This deep institutional knowledge allows me to bring a stable, forward-thinking perspective to our state association. My primary goal is to advocate for practical resources that support everyday agents, protect private property rights across Louisiana, and ensure our association remains a powerful, unifying voice for all members. I am ready to leverage my decades of hands-on experience to serve, protect, and elevate our profession.
Ashton Felice

I am seeking a position on the Louisiana REALTORS® Board of Directors because I want to give back to an industry that I have been passionate about for nearly 10 years. I bring hands-on experience as a REALTOR®, a strong understanding of the Southwest Louisiana market, and a genuine desire to advocate for and support fellow REALTORS®. I believe I would bring a fresh perspective, strong work ethic, good communication, and a willingness to listen and collaborate. I want to help make sure REALTORS® across Louisiana have a voice and the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed while continuing to strengthen our profession.
Josh Foster
Southwest Louisiana Association of REALTORS®
Serving as 2024 SWLAR President, along with seven years of local leadership and three years on the Louisiana REALTORS® board, has given me a deep, functional understanding of how our organization operates at every level. More importantly, it showed me firsthand the immense impact REALTORS® have on our local communities and our industry when we stand together behind a unified, strong organization.
Nicoletta Franc
Greater Baton Rouge Association of REALTORS®
I am seeking the opportunity to serve as a Louisiana REALTORS® Director At-Large because I believe our profession is strongest when REALTORS® are willing to contribute, listen, and help shape its future. My path to real estate has given me a perspective that reaches beyond the transaction. My background in healthcare taught me to listen carefully, communicate clearly, and remain calm when decisions matter. My experience in construction and custom home building strengthened my understanding of homes, contracts, problem-solving, and the importance of getting the details right. As a REALTOR®, I bring those experiences together every day while advocating for my clients and helping them make informed decisions. I would bring that same thoughtful, practical approach to the Board. I believe good leadership starts with listening to our members, understanding the challenges they face in the field, and working collaboratively toward solutions that strengthen our profession. I am especially interested in supporting professionalism, meaningful education and resources, responsible use of new technology, strong consumer advocacy, and preserving the trusted role REALTORS® play in their communities. I am not seeking this position simply to hold a title. I am seeking it because I want to contribute, learn, ask thoughtful questions, and do the work. It would be an honor to represent REALTORS® across Louisiana and help ensure our association remains relevant, strong, and prepared for what comes next.
Joel Girouard
Northwest Louisiana Association of REALTORS®
I am seeking the opportunity to serve on the Louisiana REALTORS® Board of Directors because I believe strongly in giving back to the profession and helping ensure REALTORS® have a strong voice in the decisions that affect our industry, our communities, and private property rights across Louisiana. As a real estate broker, business owner, and public servant, I bring experience in business, finance, real estate, and government. Serving on the Bossier City Council has given me firsthand experience with economic development, budgeting, land use, infrastructure, and public policy, while my professional career has taught me the importance of leadership, collaboration, and advocating for the people we serve. I would bring a practical, business-minded perspective to the Board, along with a willingness to listen, ask difficult questions, and work with others toward solutions. Most importantly, I would be committed to representing REALTORS® across Louisiana and helping strengthen our profession for the next generation.

Wendy Howell
REALTOR® Association of Acadiana
I have been very active in my local association, RA A, and my state association, LR, in recent years. I stepped away for a while because of personal reasons, but I am back and ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work! I am very proud of Louisiana Realtors! We have strong leaders and a strong presence in NAR. I want to continue to represent my state association to move us forward in these ever-changing times. I am currently serving as RAA, 2026 Grievance Chair. I am also a NAR Ambassador for the Realtor Relieve Fund.
Quianna Jackson
New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®
I'm seeking this position because I've built my career from the ground up in this industry, and I want to put that experience to work for the REALTORS® who are doing the same thing right now. I got licensed in 2021 and founded Quianna & Company Realty Firm. I know what it takes to start with very little and build something real, and I know the gaps in support that agents feel when they're doing that. As a broker-owner, I deal directly with the day-to-day realities our members face client relationships, industry standards, the pressure to keep growing a business while staying compliant and professional. I believe in continuing to sharpen my craft, and I try to bring that same standard to how I run my brokerage and support other agents.
Greg Jeanfreau
New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®
I am seeking this position because, as I approach 22 years as an active, full-time REALTOR®, I feel that I have accumulated a great deal of experience and perspective that I would enjoy putting to work for Louisiana REALTORS® and our profession. Real estate has been my career since 2004, and during that time I have completed hundreds of transactions involving just about every type of property and client imaginable. I have worked continuously through Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath, the Great Recession, COVID, and all of the ups and downs and changes our industry has experienced along the way. Those experiences have taught me a great deal—not only about real estate, but about adapting, solving problems, working with people, and finding ways to move forward when circumstances change. My experience also extends well beyond traditional brokerage. I am an active real estate investor and restore historic homes throughout New Orleans, utilizing historic tax credits and various types of financing to bring properties back to life and generally hold them as long-term investments. Because of that, I see our industry from several different perspectives—as a REALTOR®, investor, property owner, landlord, renovator, and small business owner. I believe that broad, hands-on perspective would be valuable to the Board, particularly as REALTORS® and property owners continue to navigate issues involving insurance, financing, affordability, regulation, preservation, and an ever-changing market. Throughout my career and personal life, I have also made it a priority to give back through board and community service. I served for approximately 10 years on the board of my neighborhood association, including a year as president. I have been involved with the Christian Brothers School Alumni Association for approximately 12 years and currently serve on the Stewardship Committee at my church. I also served for six years on the board of a local family-owned candy manufacturing business, where I helped the company purchase the first building it had owned in its 85-year history, utilize historic tax credits, and relocate its manufacturing operations into the new facility. While much of my leadership experience has been outside of REALTOR® associations, I believe that is also part of what I can bring to the Board—a perspective shaped by more than two decades of working in the business every day, combined with years of service to businesses and community organizations. After nearly 22 years, I still enjoy real estate and remain actively involved in it every day. I would welcome the opportunity to bring my experience and perspective to Louisiana REALTORS®, while also learning from REALTORS® from across the state. I enjoy being part of a group where people with different backgrounds and experiences can exchange ideas, solve problems, and hopefully leave things a little better than they found them. I believe I could make a positive contribution as an At-Large Director.

As a NOMAR Board Member, I support the mission and advance the vision to advocate for our members. To continue to promote the organization's values of service, integrity, professionalism, and accountability, closely aligning with how I approach my responsibilities with my fellow Relators. Through my current leadership positions as Broker/Owner, Chair of Affiliates, and Director with Louisiana Realtors, I have gained experience in collaborating and advocating for the betterment of our members.
Ivan Jennings
REALTOR® Association of Acadiana
I am seeking this position because I believe my more than 12 years in the real estate profession, combined with my REALTOR® association leadership experience, have prepared me to contribute at the state level. I am a graduate of the REALTOR® Association of Acadiana’s 2017 Leadership program and will complete the Louisiana REALTORS® Leadership program in September 2026. These experiences have broadened my understanding of our industry and the important role our associations play in serving and protecting REALTORS®. As a Broker, REALTOR® and active member of the REALTOR® Association of Acadiana, including my service in Professional Standards, I have gained practical experience with the challenges facing our members and the importance of ethics, professionalism, and accountability. I am seeking an At-Large Director position because I want to take the knowledge and experience I have gained locally and through LR and use it to help shape the future of Louisiana REALTORS®. I would bring a practical, experienced, collaborative, and service-oriented perspective to the Board. My goal is to listen, ask the right questions, represent REALTORS® across Louisiana, and help strengthen our profession for the future.
Mitchell Kapoulas

With 38 years of experience as a local appraiser, I’ve had the privilege of serving as president of the Louisiana Real Estate Appraisers Coalition (LAREAC) since 2020. I’m also active on the legislative and professional development committees for the LA Board of Realtors. It would be an honor to join our local board and work toward advancing both our profession and the association.
Todd M LeBlanc
Greater Baton Rouge Association of REALTORS®
The 2027 Louisiana REALTORS® At-Large Board of Directors position is an opportunity to serve the members of our association at the state level. REALTORS® across Louisiana work hard every day for their clients and communities, and they deserve representation that listens, stays engaged, and supports the needs of the membership. Ten years in real estate, combined with experience on the Louisiana REALTORS® Board of Directors and as former President of the Bayou Board of REALTORS®, provide a solid understanding of the day-to-day realities of the business and the responsibility that comes with association leadership. I would be honored, again, to serve. Strong association governance depends on Directors who listen, stay involved, and follow through. Serving in this role would be a chance to help support our REALTOR® members across Louisiana. I am ready, I am pumped. Let’s make a difference.
Lori McCarthy
REALTOR® Association of Acadiana
I respectfully request inclusion as a candidate for LR’s Board of Directors in the upcoming election. As a successful Realtor for over 20 years, and a Broker for the last 8 years, I truly understand the important role that our state BOD plays in maintaining a professional organization from the top down. This group needs to be able to listen to the issues and opportunities presented to them, logically discuss the options that are available and align as one on decisions, while keeping in mind that we represent the entire statewide organization and not our individual markets or brokerages. Real estate, as a profession, is changing everyday and we need to maintain a board comprised of both seasoned and newer Realtors so we can combine the experience and knowledge of the past with the energy from the younger generation. 2027 will bring even more changes to our industry and it is important to have educated Realtors on the BOD to assist in the decision making for our subscribers and participants. I bring solid leadership to the table, along with a reputation for exploring both options and opportunities. With experience as both a top agent and the broker of a top brokerage, I can be trusted as a knowledgeable source to align with the members of LR’s Board of Directors. My background includes: RAA President Elect 2014, RAA President 2015, BOD for several years, MLS Chairman, MLS committee for 7 terms, LR Board for 4 years, RAA Board of Directors for 8 years, ROAM Board of Managers, PR Committee Chairman, Professional Standards Chairman, Political Action Trustee and member, LR Leadership graduate, YPN Mentor, RAA Leadership Mentor, Honor Society Life Member, Managing Broker of approx. 200 Realtors, former Top Listing Agent and chair/member of numerous committees and task forces over the years.
Marsha McGraw-Barbera
Greater Central LA REALTORS® Association
I love being involved with Louisiana Realtors and have been since 2016. I feel that I have so much "left in the tank" to give back to our association. I want to stay involved and knowledgeable about our industry and being a director allows me to do just that.I am passionate about advocacy and having been Larpac Chair this past year has opened my eyes to more opportunities in our profession... to speak out about issues and support those who support us. Being on the BOD allows me to stay on top of everything that we as Realtors need to know to stay professional in our business. I would love to be elected as a Director-at -Large for La. Realtors and would serve my fellow Realtors proudly.
Candy Modeen
Northshore Area Board of REALTORS®
It would be an honor to serve as a Louisiana REALTORS® At-Large Director because I'm passionate about serving our members, and it's a responsibility I hold close to my heart. Throughout my career in real estate...as an agent, broker, team leader, and mentor, I understand the many challenges and opportunities we face everyday! I've had the privilege of serving as President of the Northshore Area Board of REALTORS® (2023), and a Louisiana REALTORS® RVP for Region 3 (2024). Currently, I serve as the LARPAC Trustee for NABOR (2025-27), Chair of Marketing and Member Services and Strategic Planning for Louisiana REALTORS® and am honored to be part of the 2026 LR Leadership Class. Each of these roles has given me the opportunity to listen, learn, collaborate, and lead with the best of the best! I'm proud of the leadership and staff who continue to drive our association forward, and I would be honored to add my experience, heart for service, and commitment to making sure our members across Louisiana feel heard, supported, and well represented!
John Myers
New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®
I would like to serve on the Louisiana REALTORS® Board of Directors because I believe the state association plays an important role in helping REALTORS® adapt to a profession that is constantly changing. I would welcome the opportunity to bring a practical, working-REALTOR® perspective to that conversation. My nearly 30 years in real estate have included appraisal, residential sales, brokerage management, agent development, and education. Those experiences have given me a broad view of the industry and, just as importantly, an understanding of the challenges agents face every day. I believe one of my strengths is taking complicated issues—contracts, technology, market changes, or new industry practices—and making them understandable and useful. I also value collaboration and believe good decisions come from listening to different perspectives and keeping the needs of the membership at the center of the discussion. I would be honored to bring my experience, perspective, and enthusiasm for our profession to the Louisiana REALTORS® Board of Directors.

For 20 years, I have had the privilege of building a career in an industry I truly love. Real estate has given me the opportunity to serve clients, build relationships, advocate for our profession, and experience firsthand how much our industry continues to evolve. I am running for an At-Large position on the State Board of Directors because I believe changing times require thoughtful, forward-thinking leadership with contextual experience. My previous service includes several years on the LR Board of Directors, 5 years on NOMAR Board of Directors, 2025 Region IV RVP. These experiences have given me a broader understanding of our boards and the challenges and opportunities facing REALTORS® across Louisiana. I am a visionary who believes we should look beyond how things have always been done and ask what our members will need five and ten years from now. We must embrace innovation while remaining committed to professionalism, accountability, and fiscal responsibility. I want to bring my experience, perspective, and willingness to think differently to the State Board. I will listen, ask difficult questions when necessary, and make decisions with the long-term health of our profession in mind. I believe our best years are ahead of us, and I would be honored to help build a stronger, more professional, financially responsible, and forward-thinking future for REALTORS® across Louisiana.

The Louisiana Realtors Association is an important part of our industry, it brings all areas of the state together as one. Louisiana Realtors gives us the base for our professionalism and serve our community both as a Realtor and the importance in being a community leader. I have served as a director for Louisiana Realtors Association for over 10 years, participated on numerous committees as a member or chairman. I am seeking to serve as a Louisiana REALTORS® At-Large Director because I am personally invested in the future of our profession and want to help protect and advance the real estate industry in Louisiana. Since becoming licensed in 2021, I have built my career as a real estate broker, negotiating more than $17 million in residential and commercial transactions. Beyond brokerage, I have personally invested in Acadiana through a growing rental portfolio and the renovation of numerous properties. These experiences have given me a firsthand perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing REALTORS®, property owners, investors, and consumers. I have also sought to contribute to the profession through education and thought leadership. I have been published on the legal implications of the NAR litigation and settlement, as well as the legal considerations surrounding nontraditional seller-financed mortgages. I have also developed and taught continuing legal education addressing appraisal bias and its legal implications for attorneys. These experiences have strengthened my interest in protecting the profession while helping it adapt to the changing legal, regulatory, and economic environment. As a REALTOR® and someone personally invested in Louisiana communities, I believe our industry needs strong advocacy, responsible leadership, and a willingness to embrace opportunities for innovation while protecting the principles that make real estate ownership and professional representation successful. As a proud Eagle Scout, community service and leadership have always been important to me. I would bring that same commitment to serving Louisiana REALTORS®. I am seeking this position because I want to give back to the profession that has provided me with tremendous opportunities, advocate for the interests of REALTORS® and property owners, and help advance a strong and successful future for real estate in Louisiana.
