Consumer Guide Update: Prepare Your Home for Hurricane Season
With the peak time of year for hurricanes approaching, NAR brings you a new consumer guide, “Prepare Your Home for Hurricane Season.” If you work in an area prone to hurricanes and tropical storms—or one that has experienced the rain and flooding that can follow such a storm—the guide offers practical tips your clients can use to ensure their personal safety and protect their home and personal property. Use the new guide as a starting point for conversations with prospective clients, especially relocating buyers new to hurricane-prone areas.
All guides in this series are available for download—in both English and Spanish—on
facts.realtor. Please allow two weeks for the Spanish version of the latest resource to be translated and uploaded.
New! Add your brand to consumer guides. All of NAR’s one-page consumer guides are available as PDF or image downloads. But now, for the first time, you can also download a PowerPoint version of “Prepare Your Home for Hurricane Season” that enables you to easily add your company logo, photo and contact information. Adding your branding to the consumer guides will help you build trust with your clients and potential clients. Later this month all the guides we've produced will be customizable with your branding. Visit
facts.realtor to download the newly brandable guides.
