2023 Broker Summit Recap

Louisiana REALTORS® • June 23, 2023

Louisiana REALTORS® hosts their Broker Summit conference in Houston, TX on June 14-15, 2023.

The two-day event hosted an amazing schedule that included education aimed specifically for Brokers, in addition to pertinent Association updates. Matthew Rathbun, real estate broker and speaker, delivered 11 hours of CE offered on technology use for communication and skills enhancement, as well as a session on setting up agents for success.

Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist for NAR®, provided attendees with a full summary of the current and forecasted mortgage rates, along with other economical factors. Those present also heard from Region 10 RVP Cindi Bulla with an update on everything NAR®.

The first day was capped off with a baseball game at Minute Maid park where Houston Astros defeated the Washington Nationals. The private party deck provided quite the space for an unforgettable view and experience with colleagues, friends and family.

Day two continued with an in-depth look at creating exit strategies for your business and determining value based on contributing internal and external factors. Jeremy Alford presented a full review of current Louisiana politics and a wrap-up of this year's Legislative Session.

The conference concluded with yet another networking opportunity offering crucial time for engagement.

Louisiana REALTORS® looks forward to hosting REALTORS® from around the state at the Riding with the Brand Event in conjunction with our Fall Governance Meetings and Installation, September 19-20, 2023.
