2017 Legislative Session Recap & Wins
LOUISIANA REALTORS • June 26, 2017
The Legislative Session ended last month with no tax increases and without passing a budget. Harris, DeVille & Associates put together a Louisiana Legislative Session Recap
that summarizes activity that took place with regard to taxes, the special session, and what is ahead. Below is a visual highlighting REALTOR® and homeowner wins. As state issues settle, REALTORS® need to turn their attention to the national stage as the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP)
is set to expire on September 30th. NAR has been actively engaged in trying to shape pieces of legislation. It is imperative that we stand ready to respond to Calls for Action and what is happening in Congress. Stay up to date through NAR's NFIP page.
