Real Estate Trends Report
Statewide real estate statistics, demographics and economic data related to the industry have been compiled by LR in a quarterly Real Estate Trends report. State sales/listing trends, employment/demographic statistics, updates on economic development activity and mortgage lending are featured in the report, which is available to all LR members.

Louisiana Lands Use Toolkit
The Louisiana Land Use Toolkit is a free online resource that provides parishes and municipalities with example development tools they can adopt or adapt to meet their needs!

NEW Mandatory Statewide Residential Purchase Agreement
A mandatory purchase agreement goes into effect for residential transactions in Louisiana beginning January 1, 2008. This Resource Center features background, a detailed guide explaining every section of the form, and a comprehensive Q&A section. Recommended addendums are also provided.

Property Disclosure Resource Center
Mandatory residential seller disclosure went into effect in Louisiana on July 1, 2004. This section includes a Q&A document on Louisiana's new property disclosure requirements, LR legal hotline inquiries on disclosure issues and more.

Mold Resource Center
LR's Mold Resource Center provides useful information and background on the issue of toxic mold. The section also includes a Q&A document on mold disclosure, sample language for use by REALTOR members in contracts and more.

Technology Resource Center
Includes a number of technology assistance resources, including a library of tech support and troubleshooting sites, technology education options, procedures for,, technology product listing and more.

"Do Not Call" Resource Center
Contains information for REALTORS on the Louisiana Public Service Commission's "Do Not Call" anti-telephone solicitation program. Included in the "Do Not Call" Resource Center is a downloadable Consent to Contact form (which members may want to use with existing clients and customers in order to be able to call them without fear of a complaint), information on the "Do Not Call" complaint and hearing process and more.

The Road Home Program
The Road Home program is designed to help residents of Louisiana affected by Hurricane Katrina or Rita get back into their homes as quickly and fairly as possible. The program affords eligible homeowners up to $150,000 in compensation for their losses to get back into their homes.

FHA Resource Center
Provides information about FHA loan products, processing issues, mortgage credit guidelines, property analysts guidelines and more. A good resource whether you are a consumer or an industry partner with questions.

NAR's official association website. Provides a variety of business tools, member services and information on NAR activities and initiatives.

State & Federal Government Agencies

Louisiana Real Estate Commission
LREC monitors and administers laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to licensed real estate salespersons and brokers, timeshare registrants, real estate schools, continuing education vendors and real estate instructor certificate holders in the state of Louisiana.

Louisiana Real Estate Appraisers Board
The board certifies, supervises and disciplines state certified appraisers in Louisiana, and develops appraisal education and experience standards.

Louisiana Housing Finance Agency
LHFA's mission is to provide financing for decent, safe, and affordable housing for every Louisianian. This ongoing challenge is met by offering a menu of programs that assist the very low, low and moderate income residents in the state.

Louisiana Department of Economic Development
Provides details on state location advantages, tax incentives, training programs, workforce productivity, and international trade.

Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality
Provides access to rules and regulations, permitting information, the Small Business Assistance Program and the state's Geographic Information Systems (maps and data).

This government site provides businesses with one-stop access to federal government information, services, and transactions.
