Why do you want to be in this leadership position?
I am passionate about the real estate industry. I am a second generation Realtor, and have been a full time agent working with buyers and sellers for over ninteen years. As a long time volunteer on the local, state, and national levels, I have been lucky enough to have worked with some of the brightest and most talented professionals in Louisiana. I want to continue to serve Louisiana and Texas as Regional Vice President in order to
promote the interests and opportunities of our region at NAR. The position of RVP would allow me to work for the continued betterment the real estate industry in our region during these rapidly changing times. Our association volunteers look out for the best interests of Realtors and our customers and clients. It would be an honor for me,as Region 10 RVP, to continue this important work, and I ask for your vote.
How do you think you would make a difference as an officer?
My real estate experience includes day to day listing and sales, owning and managing a company, and policy and lobbying efforts on the local, state, and national levels. I am past president of LR and the Greater Baton Rouge Association, and a former Realtor of the Year for both groups. Currrently I am NAR chair of the Convention Committee, and I work with current and upcoming NAR leadership in that role. These relationships will allow me to promote the interests of Region 10 at NAR. As a volunteer leader in my community, and have received local and national honors from community groups. I am skilled at successfully communicating and bringing groups together to find solutions in a positive way. I am passionate about real estate and about Realtors, and I will work hard for the interests of people in my region.
