Why do you want to be in this leadership roler?
I have a strong desire to help make our association better for all members and I believe I can make a difference.
If elected, how do you intent to use your position to benefit the membership?
My organizational skills and leadership experience will benefit both the association and its members. My desire is to do what is best for our members by communicating trends and working hard. I believe we should focus on enhanced forms of service, negotiating skills and strategic acumen to better serve our members and the public.
If elected, do you plan on seeking a higher office in the future?

National Service
My National positions have been with Women's Council of REALTORS as both Louisiana State President and Govenor for WCR.
State Service
I have been a LR director for several years, beginning in 1993 having served as chair of Member Services (1994) and Professional Standards (2010). Currently, I am serving on LR's Pac Trustees, Professional Development, Marketing & Member Services and LR Leadership Committees.
Local Service
I have served on my local board of directors for several years and have served as chairman of most of the committees, some more than once. Currently I am chair of our local association's Pac Trustees, Member Services, Professional Development, and Professional Standards. I was President of NWLAR in 2010, President Elect 2009, Secretary/Treasurer 2008. I am very involved with our MLS having served for a number of years including Chair of General MLS, Chair of MLS Administrative and formed a MLS User Group.
Personal message to membership
I am a dedicated volunteer and work diligently to help provide services and recognition to our members. I am a working residential REALTOR, and a graduate of LR Leadership (2005). I enjoy being involved with my community which has included board memberships on Parent Teacher Associations, Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana, local Home Associations. Recently, I was asked to serve on a Community Bond Committee to determine the need for a city bond issue to cover costs for city repairs which was brought to the public for a vote and passed, and I am a major donor for PAC.
