The Louisiana REALTORS “REALTOR Action!” Spring Conference was April 28-30, 2010 in Baton Rouge. LRassembled 2-1/2 days of top notch programming for REALTOR brokers and agents, including education, industry information, legislative activities, networking and more. Take a look at some of what REALTORS experienced at this year’s “REALTOR Action!” conference… Marketing/social media expert and national instructor Doug Devitre showedhow to build an effective profile and prospect successfully using social media networks such as Facebook and Twitter. One of the most respected experts in the nation on real estate risk management, Oliver Frascona, provided valuable legal perspectives and showed how to stay in compliance with the law in an increasingly complicated real estate environment. The annual LR Legislative Reception, hosted in the shadow of the capitol at LR’s Legislative Office, gave REALTORS a great opportunity to network and talk issues with state lawmakers while enjoying great food in a casual setting. The Louisiana REALTORS Awards Luncheon, where the state’s top REALTOR volunteers were recognized and the Louisiana REALTOR of the Year was announced. |
