The Louisiana REALTORS “REALTOR Action!” Spring Conference was held on May 24-26, 2011 in Baton Rouge at the Hilton Capitol Center Hotel. LR assembled 2-1/2 days of top notch programming for REALTOR brokers and agents, including education, industry information, legislative activities, networking and more.

Featured guest speaker Michael Olivier who serves as President and CEO of Louisiana Committee of 100 for Economic Development, Inc., a private sector non-profit business advocacy group intent on building coalitions and partnerships to bring business and economic development to Louisiana.

REALTOR Issues Briefings
Offered something for all REALTORS - Residential: were brought up to speed on the key issues facing residential real estate and homeowners, including LR’s initiative to prohibit future transfer taxes in the state of Louisiana.

Legislative Reception
The annual LR Legislative Reception was hosted in the historical setting of the Pentagon Barracks and provided REALTORS a great opportunity to network and talk issues with state lawmakers while enjoying great food.
REALTOR Awards Luncheon
The annual state-level REALTOR Awards Luncheon, recognized the industry’s top volunteer REALTOR leaders and LARPAC supporters, and the Louisiana REALTOR of the Year.
