Jay Dardenne
Louisiana Secretary of State
Jay Dardenne was sworn in as Secretary of State of Louisiana in November, 2006, filling the remaining year on an unexpired term and ending a 15-year career in the State Senate. He was reelected in the 2007 primary with 64% of the vote, receiving the largest number of votes cast for any candidate in the statewide election.
Secretary Dardenne has championed increased early voting opportunities and helped win legislative approval of a pay raise for poll commissioners. During his legislative service, he chaired the Senate Finance Committee and the Senate and Governmental Affairs Committee, which oversees ethics and election laws.
In 2003, he was named National Republican Legislator of the Year. He is an active community volunteer, having hosted the Jerry Lewis Telethon for the Muscular Dystrophy Association for more than 25 years. He served for two years on the National MDA Board of Directors. In addition, Secretary Dardenne chaired the Local Organizing Committee for the National Senior Olympics and received the Community Leadership Award from Leadership Greater Baton Rouge.

Entering the real estate profession in 1991 in St. Augustine, Florida, Marcus earned his brokers license and set sail on a course that would lead him to his destiny! His desire to share his knowledge and talents pushed him to earn his Graduate REALTORâ Institute (GRI) designation along with his state certification as a Licensed Real Estate Instructor. Proud to be on the Florida Association of REALTORSâ teaching faculty for the REALTORâ Institute program, Marcus is excited about the opportunities to transact business globally. Earning his Certified International Property specialist (CIPS) designation sets him apart. Currently only 2700 professional REALTORSâ have been pinned with this unique status.
This passion for International has led him to speak and teach at a number of global cities including Rome, Paris, Riga, Puerto Rico, Dublin, Tbilisi, New York and a host of others. His unique style of facilitation has been well received with his audiences wanting more.
Today Marcus provides Leadership Training encouraging his students to become strong leaders in their communities and at their local, State and National level.

Ed Moore, RCE, CAE, e-PRO, CIPS, CMP, LTG

Ed Moore is the Executive Vice President of the Greater Tyler Association of REALTORS® a position he has held since April 2009. He has been active in organized real estate for over 35 years, serving as Executive Vice President in local REALTOR® Associations in Illinois, Florida and Massachusetts.
Ed received his real estate broker’s license in Illinois in 1974. He was appointed by the Governor of Illinois to serve as the Assistant Commissioner of Real Estate from 1982 to 1989. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin and attended the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. Among his many professional designations are RCE (REALTOR Association Certified Executive), CAE (Certified Association Executive), CMP (Certified Meeting Professional), e-PRO (e-PRO Internet Professional for Association Management) and most recently the CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist).
He has been a NAR-certified Professional Standards Training Instructor for many years and teaches the Code of Ethics course nationally and locally at new member orientation. Ed is a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians and has served as the Parliamentarian of the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® from 2002 to 2008. He served as a Parliamentarian for the National Association of REALTORS®, Region 1, from 1998 to 2003.

Patrick Dennis
Patrick Dennis Governmental Services
Patrick Dennis is the owner of Patrick Dennis Governmental Services in Atlanta, Georgia, and co-owner of the Southeast Development Advisory Group. His clients have included the Atlanta Board of Realtors, the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, the Georgia chapter of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties and other independent environmental and development concerns. Patrick has been a registered lobbyist at the local, state and federal level for fifteen years in Florida, Washington DC and Georgia. He has been a Political Representative and Sr. Political Communications Representative for the National Association of Realtors. He created the first Governmental Affairs Director position for the Atlanta Realtors. He has developed grassroots strategies and campaigns across the southeast U.S. and has served on political panels, commissions and committees to facilitate development initiatives.
Patrick is also the President of the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, the Director for the Chastain Park Arts Festival, and on the Board of Directors for the John Ripley Forbes Big Trees Forest Preserve.
Patrick is also an accomplished painter, and owner of the Decatur Market & Gallery. He co-founded the first Museum of Art in the state capitol of Florida, raising start up funds, securing grants, hiring staff and developing the first permanent collection. His name is on it somewhere!
Patrick attended Antioch University, has two grown daughters, two grandchildren and two St. Bernards. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia… so far.
