8:30 AM - 11:30 AM Advanced Mediator Training (Bruce Adyt) (Paramount Room)
Bruce Aydt, a distinguished member of NAR’s mediation faculty, will conduct a 3-hour, advanced mediator training session at the 2012 Leading Edge Conference.  The class is free, but registration is required, as space is limited.  The session is designed for volunteer mediators with prior training or experience in mediation.  Participants will get hands-on experience mediating disputes and helpful tips on how to improve their techniques in mediating disputes among fellow REALTORS.” Register by emailing Shelly Bateman at shelly@larealtors.org

Bruce Aydt, a renowned speaker on Professional Standards, returns with a new four-hour seminar, “Enforcing the Code and Its Standards.”  This class will train volunteers to serve on Grievance Committees and Professional Standards Hearing Panels.  Attendees will earn 4 hours of CE credit, meet NAR’s quadrennial Code of Ethics training requirements, and qualify to serve on local and state Professional Standards teams.

6:30 PM - 11:00 PM LARPAC Capitol Poker Pub Crawl (Hilton, Lucy's, and The Roux House)
Come join in on an Evening of FUN, Drinks, Food and Dessert with New and Old REALTOR Friends. With a contribution of $125, you will enjoy a night of drawing poker cards at three downtown Baton Rouge establishments. We will be visiting the Hilton, Lucy's and The Roux House. You will take pleasure in tantalizing hor d'oeuvres, refreshing drinks and a scrumptious dessert prepared especially for the Poker Pub Crawl event. Prizes will be given to the Best Poker Hand.
