Real Estate Bills in the 2008 Regular Legislative Session
Louisiana REALTORS will be very active in the 2008 Regular Legislative Session. LR and local associations of REALTORS have written several pieces of legislation on behalf of REALTORS and the real estate industry that we will be working to pass this spring. LR’s governmental affairs staff and State Legislative Team will also be monitoring a number of bills that have a potential impact on real estate in Louisiana.

For your convenience, we have developed two interactive Microsoft Word documents that list all pertinent bills on the House and Senate side. After downloading, users can click on the linked bill number in the documents to see complete bill text and status as it moves through the Legislature. 2008 State Legislative Outreaches...
Louisiana REALTORS State Legislative Outreaches provide a great opportunity for REALTORS to receive informative updates on key legislation prior to each year’s Regular Legislative Session and to discuss pertinent issues with state lawmakers. Nine Outreaches were conducted by LR around the state in late winter/early spring 2008, drawing hundreds of attendees and bringing REALTORS and elected officials together.
