Louisiana REALTORS also prepares and advocates legislation proposed by and in the best interest of its members. Over the years, REALTORS have enjoyed many legislative successes due to the work of their state association, including an increase in professional standards for all licensees, a rewrite of the Agency Law in Louisiana, and we have consistently opposed and beaten every proposed real estate transfer tax.
