Louisiana REALTORS breaks down the hours of instruction into a specific set of courses required to complete the GRI designation.
To obtain a GRI designation each student is required to earn a total of twelve (12) GRI credits totaling 96 hours of instruction, covering subjects in: Business Development; Sales & Marketing; Customer & Client Services; Cultural Diversity; Risk Management; Contract Law; Technology; and Professional Standards.
While earning the GRI designation, students also earn other nationally recognized designations and certifications. Courses need to be taken as outlined below and can be done in any order. Students earning the GRI have up to five (5) years after the first course is taken to complete the necessary requirements. Courses taken online are credited differently than courses taken through live instruction. For a list of live offerings, please refer to the designation & education calendar. ** Please note course availability, locations, and dates are subject to change.
