GRI - Set Yourself Apaprt

The Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation is the foundation coursework for other designations, licenses and certifications. The program is designed primarily for members whose main business activity is residential real estate, and helps those members increase their knowledge and skills in a wide range of technical subjects and real estate fundamentals.

To obtain a GRI designation each student is required to earn a total of twelve (12) GRI credits totaling 96 hours of instruction, covering subjects in: Business Development; Sales & Marketing; Customer & Client Services; Cultural Diversity; Risk Management; Contract Law; Technology; and Professional Standards.

Why GRI?

According to a 2008 NAR Member Profile:

  • 18% of all REALTORS have earned the GRI Designation.
  • REALTORS with the GRI Designation earn on average almost $40,000 more than REALTORS with no designations.
  • Generate more leads and referrals through course contacts and expand your network of real estate professionals

As a Louisiana REALTOR with a GRI Designation you can give your career (and income) a boost. Read the GRI success stories of fellow Louisiana REALTOR Members. Do you have a GRI Success story? Click here and tell us about it.
