ABR designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real
Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC) of the National Association
of REALTORS® (NAR) who meet the specified educational and practical
experience criteria.
The ABR designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation.
Louisiana REALTORS® offers the 2- day ABR course as well as
several REBAC elective courses throughout the year
To earn your Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) designation,
you must successfully complete the two-day ABR course; complete
one of the approved REBAC one-day elective course; submit proof
of five closed transactions as a Buyer’s Representative and
be a member in good standing with REBAC and NAR.
REBAC was established to promote superior buyer representation skills
and services. REBAC supports its members through a variety of benefits
and publications designed to keep members informed of developments
and to help members improve their business.
